SURF + BOARD

HOW IT'S MADE
Laminated as One,
Separated When Needed
The surfboard and canvas are made together, bonded during a single resin pour. The silhouette left behind becomes its own piece: a frame for where the board once rested. When the board returns from the ocean, its surface carries the marks of saltwater, wax, and use, a visual record of where it has been.
The two pieces, once identical, begin to diverge.
Like every Paul Surf board, a pressed dandelion is glassed into the nose, just at the tip where the board breaks the surface.

Built to Your Specifications
Every Surf + Board begins with a conversation with what you want the piece to do; scale, color direction, and the intended space. Paul then consults on dimensions and palette, and shapes the visual direction.
The surfboard is shaped to your specifications for riding performance, or to Paul's recommendation if the piece is intended primarily for display. Canvas dimensions are determined by the board.
